Audi's Q6 e-Tron is expanding its lineup with a new rear-wheel-drive variant named the Performance variant. It now offers a higher range, yet it packs less power. The Performance variant boasts an impressive 641 km range and flashes from a standstill to 100 kmph in 6.6 seconds. This power factor may be lower than that of its brother models – the Q6 e-Tron Quattro and SQ6 e-Tron – yet in terms of range, it outperforms them both.
This new variant will have a rear-wheel-drive configuration and singular motor, producing 326 PS of power from its 100 kWh battery. For the Q6 e-Tron Quattro, the figures are 387 PS and a 625 km range, while the SQ6 e-Tron offers a massive 517 PS with a 598 km range. What's more, you can quickly boost the Performance variant by adding 260 kilometers of range in only 10 minutes utilizing a 270 kW DC charger.
The comfort and technology packed into the new model mirror its standard counterpart. Its cabin, laden with high-tech features and plush designs represent the Q6 e-Tron badge proudly. A trio of screens greeted the occupants – a virtual cockpit for the driver measuring 11.9-inches, a 14.5-inch infotainment touchscreen in the center, and a 10.9-inch display for the passenger. Rounding off the lush interior is a premium 20-speaker system from Bang & Olufsen.
Also expected are a heads-up display with Augmented Reality (AR) functionality, ambient lighting, luxurious materials throughout, multi-zone climate control, and power-adjustable front seats.
The Indian market will likely see the launch of the Q6 e-Tron in 2025, yet the single-motor variant may not be part of the lineup to hit the Indian shores.
