The TVS iQube scooter range in India has been updated with an extended lineup that now features three variant options with 2.2 kWh, 3.4 kWh, and the powerful 5.1 kWh battery packs. The collection now comprises five variants in total, with the entry-level option equipped with a 2.2 kWh battery retailing at a price of Rs 84,999 (ex-showroom). The new additions to the lineup were developed in response to consumer demand for e-scooters with improved range capabilities.
Manu Saxena, the Senior Vice President of EV Business at TVS Motor Company expressed his delight at the growth of the TVS iQube family, which now boasts an impressive 3 lakh strong customer base. He was pleased to introduce not only the speedy 2.2 kWh charging variant of TVS iQube but also an extra variant in the TVS iQube ST line. He further explained their goal of delivering an ideal combination of range and price to their customers through the introduction of three battery options.
The base model of the TVS iQube variant retains the stylish visual features of the rest of the lineup. This includes an LED headlight along with sleek day running lights at the front, and a piano black plate that carries the brand's chrome logo. The scooter also sports a 5-inch color TFT screen that displays crucial information like speed, RPM, and estimated range on a full charge. As claimed by TVS, the 2.2 kWh model can be charged from empty to 80% in 2 hours and provide up to 75km range on full charge.
An addition to the lineup is the TVS iQube ST 3.4 kWh that comes in four color variants: Coral Sand Glossy, Titanium Grey Matte, Starlight Blue Glossy, and Copper Bronze Matte. It has the capability to deliver a power of 5.9bhp and 140Nm of torque. The scooter can reach a top speed of 78 km/h from standstill in just 4.2 seconds. It takes about three hours to charge from 0 to 80% and offers a single charge range of up to 100km.
The top model in the lineup, the TVS iQube ST 5.1 kWh, shares its features, performance, and color options with the 3.4 kWh variant but is blessed with a bigger 5.1 kWh battery pack that provides a remarkable range up to 150km on a single charge. It fully charges in four hours and eighteen minutes and offers slightly better performance with a top speed of 82 km/h.
