The renowned automaker, Porsche, has announced the pricing for two new models, the Porsche Cayenne GTS and Cayenne Coupe GTS. The SUV and Coupe versions will retail at Rs 2 crore and Rs 1.36 lakh extra, respectively. Released globally a few weeks ago, these models are now available in India.
The standard SportDesign package included with the Cayenne GTS gives it a glossy black finish on the side skirts, wheel arches, the lower portion of the wing mirror, front grill, and rear diffuser. Additionally, the brand's name in matte black adorns the rear and side areas. Customers can choose from seven standard colours including White, Black, Dolomite Silver, Carrara White, Quartzite Grey, Carmine Red, and Cashmere Beige. Porsche also offers more colour options from their ‘Legends’ palette at an additional cost of Rs 7.3 lakh or Porsche's ‘Paint to Sample’ programme at Rs 20.13 lakh.
In keeping with its sleek exterior design, the Cayenne GTS introduces an all-black interior. Standard features range from 8-way adjustable front seats with a memory function for the driver, ambient lighting and 4-zone climate control, to HD Matrix LED headlights, wireless charging, and a robust 14-speaker 710-watt Bose sound system. Other features include electric sunblinds for rear windows and a two-pane panoramic sunroof. The safety elements are inclusive of a park assist, cruise control and active speed limit assist as standard. There are also optional extras such as a HUD for Rs 2.67 lakh, a lane change assist function for Rs 1.71 lakh, and a passenger screen for Rs 1.65 lakh.
Moving on to performance, the Cayenne GTS houses a 500hp, 4.0-litre, twin-turbo V8 petrol engine, capable of accelerating from 0-100kp within 4.4 seconds. This engine is mated to an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission. The exhaust system is redesigned in dark bronze, and its Adaptive Air suspension is provided by Porsche.
