Though the concept model of the Curvv had a distinct front fascia, some tweaks have been made for the production model. But, this might not be exciting news to those who were looking forward to a completely novel design.
The Curvv is expected to compete favourably with rivals such as Creta and Seltos when it comes to features. Besides usual luxuries like a large touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, voice commands, and panoramic sunroof, it is set to offer head-up display (HUD) and Tata’s new two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo. The Curvv will borrow its engine options from Nexon. It may come with a tuned-up 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine delivering 125 PS and 225 Nm, compared to the 120 PS and 170 Nm generated by this engine in the Nexon. The other engine variant could be a 1.5-litre diesel engine producing 115 PS and 260 Nm. An electric version of the Curvv is also planned.
