A tribute to the rich heritage of the classic 1904 Indian Camelback, the internationally acclaimed Indian Motorcycle company presents its 2024 Roadmaster Elite, a top-of-the-line bike limited to a mere 350 units worldwide.
This striking motorbike is characterized by a distinctive paint scheme - a unique tri-tone blend of red, black and dynamically different color on the seats. Further elevating its exclusive look, the Roadmaster Elite sports the Elite branding and graphics adorning the engine, fuel tank and foot rests. Also distinguishing features include a gloss black dash, a stealthy blacked-out windscreen, elaborate golden pinstripes painted by hand, and the 10-spoke diamond cut alloy exclusively found on this model. The wheel setup features Metzeler Cruisetec tyres that add to its visual appeal.
The allure of the Roadmaster Elite isn't just skin deep - beneath the gorgeous exterior lie an array of useful features. Among these are a 7-inch TFT interface with Apple CarPlay integration and a built-in navigation system that offers turn-by-turn directions. The motorbike also boasts an all-LED lighting setup that includes cornering LED and a powerful 12-speaker audio system installed on the front fairing. For an enhanced travel experience, heated and cooled seats are provided, along with rear passenger armrests. Additionally, the Roadmaster Elite sports saddlebags and a top box, offering a generous 136-litre storage capacity that can be locked remotely for security.
Propelling this motorcycle is an 1890cc, V-Twin, air-cooled engine, also found on the Roadmaster Limited. The engine delivers a torquing power of 170Nm. Although weighing 412 kgs makes the Roadmaster Elite heavier when compared to many full-size baggers, it is lighter than the recently reviewed BMW R 18 Transcontinental.
The starting price for the 2024 Roadmaster Elite in the US is $41,999, approximately RS 34.85 lakh. However, it's unclear whether this limited-edition model will be available in India. The last time this model was on sale, only one unit made its way to India.
Together with its legacy, unique aesthetics, bundled features and limited availability, the 2024 Roadmaster Elite may indeed be a cherished addition for motorcycle enthusiasts.
