Shaan Mukherjee, an admired singer recognized for his songs in various box-office Bollywood films, has recently made a significant acquisition. Mercedes-Benz revealed via their social media platforms that Shaan procured the marque’s leading luxury EV in India, known as the Mercedes-Benz EQS 580.

Powering the EQS 580 is a 107.8 kWh battery pack that is propelling dual electric motors, configured in an all-wheel-drive setup. According to ARAI, the EQS 580 offers a total range of 857 km on a single charge. However, in real-world conditions, a WLTP range of approximately 600 km is expected to be more realistic. Equipped with a 200 kW DC fast charger, the colossal battery pack can be recharged from 10 to 80 percent in a swift 30 minutes.
Being the electric counterpart to the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, the EQS 580 exhibits a high level of sophistication and hosts a myriad of features. It features a state-of-the-art 56-inch MBUX hyperscreen that includes a digital driver’s display, an interactive infotainment touchscreen, and a front passenger display. Additional comfort features of the car include multi-zone climate control, ventilated seats, ambient lighting, a 710 W, 15-speaker Burmester sound system, as well as powered seats fitted with a massage function.
