Bajaj Auto's best-selling range is undoubtedly the Pulsar lineup, which has made its mark as one of the trendiest street motorcycle ranges in India. It locks horns with TVS' Apache series, Suzuki's Gixxer, and Yamaha's FZ lineup. The Pulsar bikes' popularity continues to hold strong among their key demographic, amassing a large and dedicated fan base.
Recognising the customer's affinity for new technology and equipment, the company has updated the top variants of the Pulsar N150 and N160 with the latest features. The 2023 models without the 2024 refreshments continue to be available for purchase without any change in price points. The base variants of the Pulsar N150 and N160 are priced at Rs. 1.18 lakh and Rs. 1.31 lakh respectively (both prices ex-showroom).
The top-spec variants of the Pulsar N150 and N160 have received an all-new digital instrument screen and are priced at Rs. 1.24 lakh and Rs. 1.33 lakh respectively. The Pulsar N150's top variant now also comes with rear disc brakes, justifying the price disparity between the variants. The Pulsar N160 top variant, on the other hand, now features standard dual-channel ABS.

The base variants of both the Pulsar N150 and N160 continue to feature the previous semi-digital instrument cluster that included an analogue tachometer. The newly introduced digital instrument screen, which supports Bluetooth, is exclusive to the top-spec variants. It's speculated that the Pulsar N250 might also see this update.
Focusing on the updated features in the top variants, the newly introduced digital instrument screen is an LCD unit that offers Bluetooth connectivity. It pairs with the rider’s smartphone via the Bajaj Ride Connect App, unlocking useful features such as call alerts, mobile notification alerts, mobile battery health indicator, mobile signal reception strength indicator, and more.
A "Mode" button on the left switchgear allows the rider to navigate through this updated instrument cluster. As of now, a turn-by-turn navigation feature, similar to what Yamaha offers with its FZ lineup, has not been added. Interestingly, TVS also provides turn-by-turn navigation with their Apache lineup.
With these enhancements, the top variants of the Pulsar N150 and N160 have become the first Bajaj motorcycles to be equipped with Bluetooth connectivity. Apart from these updates, the powertrains and components remain the same as the 2023 models.
