When we recall Rezvani's 2019 Tank, we picture a car built to endure Armageddon, fortified with an ample thousand horsepower to deliver a beastly vibe. The company is upping the ante with their newest masterpiece, the Beast, for those who wish to weather the apocalypse in utmost luxury and style.
The Beast maintains its original form of a C8 Corvette equipped with the car’s typical 6.2L V8 engine. However, it now flaunts a twin turbocharger to boost the horsepower to a whopping 1,000 and generates an impressive 878lb ft torque. This enhances its ability to dodge precarious situations swiftly, including sprinting a quarter mile in just 9.6 seconds, owing to the grip provided by Michelin Cup 2R tyres. It is expected that the eight-speed DCT transmission can bear the additional power, making the Beast a formidable force to reckon with, even when enemies get close.
Despite its aggressive corvette foundation, Rezvani dresses the Beast in surprisingly resistant bodywork that is bulletproof – a $55,000 upgrade to ensure its invincibility while retaining its aesthetic appeal. Carbon fibre, though, may not be a viable option.
The relentless quest for extreme opulence doesn't halt there. Rezvani offers a unique 007 Package at another $45,000 which encompasses features that would make even Mr Bond feel outmoded. This includes gas masks, a smokescreen, a pepper spray dispenser, magnetic deadbolts, electrified door handles, sirens, electromagnetic pulse protection, hypothermia kits, and even a state-of-the-art explosive detection system for the particularly paranoid supercar enthusiast. An intercom finds its place within the Beast, which does seem puzzling considering you might not want to permit anyone else inside.
If extravagance is not your style, you can simply enjoy a 1,000 horsepower Corvette-inspired supercar that takes cues from the Ferrari 296 GTB. The Beast's exclusivity lies in the fact that Rezvani plans on manufacturing just 20 of these. However, this luxurious rarity will cost you; even without the add-ons, the Beast demands a price tag of $485,000, a little over £385,000. The turbocharged engine and the advanced carbon fibre bodies do come at a steep cost, not to mention the price of bulletproofing.
Rezvani claims that the car is ‘designed to stir your senses’ and is currently accepting reservations for their extraordinary new vehicle.
