Starting today, customers can take delivery of the Tata Punch EV which is available in a range of five distinctive variants. These are the Smart, Smart Plus, Adventure, Empowered and Empowered Plus models. Additionally, the top three models: Adventure, Empowered, and Empowered Plus also include an “S” variant that comes fitted with a sunroof.
Discovering the Punch EV Battery and Powering Options
Two brand-new battery options - a 25kWh and a 35kWh - are available for the Punch EV. The smaller battery promises a range of approximately 315 km, while the large one can squeeze out 421 km. Each battery option also provides a different performance level; the smaller one offers 82 PS/ 114 Nm, and the larger one delivers 122 PS and 190 Nm. They support 50kW DC fast charging and can recharge from 10 to 80 percent capacity in under an hour.

The Tata Punch EV boasts an impressive array of features. In addition to updates on the frontage, as compared with the ICE Punch, it comes with various other feature enhancements. These include a 10.25-inch infotainment display and driver’s cluster, ventilated front seating, a 360-degree camera, and the Arcade,EV app suite. The Punch EV also showcases a jeweled rotary dial for drive selection, which houses a built-in display, signifying another first from Tata.

On the safety front, the standard model comes equipped with six airbags, ISOFIX, electronic stability control, ISOFIX, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and hill hold assistance. The higher variants also include an automatic electronic parking brake, hill descent control, and a blind-spot viewing monitor.
Punch EV Pricing Structure
Nestled between the Tiago EV and Nexon EV in terms of both price and features, the Punch EV slots perfectly into the lineup. The introductory prices have been listed as follows:
Mid-range (25kWh) ₹10.99 - ₹13.29 lakh
Long-Range (35kWh) ₹12.99 - ₹14.49 lakh
For the sunroof variants and the option of a 7.2kW AC charging for larger battery pack models, there is an additional cost of ₹50,000.
